Cheers, Ken Was this answer. How much shoud it cost to repair an Idle Air control vavle? Sounds reasonable, if your having it replaced again subtract the diagnostic fee, as you know what it is the parts are aroudn dollars dependent. The labor is from dollars also.
I am experiencing a humming or rumbling noise from my explorer when I am decellereting to idle. The noise happens at low rpm's and only when decreasin g. It sounds like it is coming from the air intake just before it enters the ebgine. More then likely this would be the idle air control so here is a guide that will explain how to replace this plus a guide that talks about noises from a vehicle.
